1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of games and Discord Activities operated by Repository Games (“Repository Games”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including:
- Crossword Mesh;
- Daily Memory;
- our idle RPG;
- other Repository Games titles and related services that link to these Terms.
Together, these are referred to as the “Services”.
By accessing or using a Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
Our Privacy Policy also applies to your use of the Services:

2. Our Services
Repository Games develops interactive games and Discord Activities.
Different Services may include features such as:
- daily puzzles;
- multiplayer or social activity;
- persistent progression;
- scores and streaks;
- achievements;
- badges;
- virtual inventories;
- cosmetics;
- virtual items;
- optional paid content;
- subscriptions;
- social summaries or recaps.
Features may differ between individual games.
3. Relationship with Discord
Repository Games is an independent third-party developer.
Our Services may operate on Discord’s developer platform, but Repository Games is not Discord and is not operated or endorsed by Discord Inc.
“Discord” is a trademark of Discord Inc.
Your use of Discord remains separately governed by Discord’s own Terms of Service and other applicable Discord policies.
Discord Terms of Service:
Where you make purchases through Discord, Discord’s Paid Services Terms and any other applicable Discord purchasing terms may also apply.
4. Eligibility
You must meet any minimum-age or eligibility requirements applicable to the platform through which you access a Service.
For Discord Activities, you must:
- have a valid Discord account;
- meet Discord’s applicable minimum age requirements;
- comply with Discord’s Terms and policies.
If you are below the legal age of majority where you live, you may need permission from a parent or legal guardian to make purchases.
Discord’s Paid Services Terms currently require users below the applicable age of majority to have parent or guardian permission for purchases made through Discord.
5. License to use the Services
Subject to these Terms, Repository Games grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal entertainment purposes.
This license does not transfer ownership of the Services, software, game content, virtual items, or intellectual property to you.
You may not use the Services except as permitted by these Terms and applicable law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- exploit, cheat, manipulate, or intentionally interfere with game mechanics, scoring, progression, rewards, or purchases;
- use bots, scripts, automation, unauthorized software, or other methods to gain an unfair advantage;
- attempt to bypass technical restrictions or security measures;
- access or attempt to access another user’s data or account without authorization;
- interfere with or disrupt our servers, databases, APIs, infrastructure, or Services;
- reverse engineer, extract, scrape, copy, or reproduce substantial parts of our proprietary game content or databases except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use our Services to violate Discord’s Terms, Community Guidelines, Developer policies, or other applicable platform rules;
- use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or harmful purposes;
- misuse payment, refund, entitlement, or virtual-item systems;
- knowingly exploit bugs in order to obtain unauthorized rewards, currency, purchases, rankings, or progression.
We may take reasonable action where we believe a user has violated these Terms, including restricting or terminating access, correcting illegitimate game state, or removing improperly obtained rewards.
7. Player data and privacy
Using the Services may require us to store information such as:
- your Discord identity;
- game progress;
- scores;
- streaks;
- achievements;
- badges;
- virtual inventories;
- cosmetics;
- purchase entitlements;
- social or channel participation information.
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy:
https://discord-crossword.vercel.app/privacy
8. Social features
Some Repository Games include social features that allow other users participating in the same Discord channel or game session to see limited information about you.
Depending on the Service, this may include:
- username;
- avatar;
- game progress;
- completion status;
- scores;
- badges;
- cosmetics;
- recap or session information.
By using a social game feature, you understand that this information may be visible to other users participating in the relevant experience.
9. Virtual items, cosmetics, and game content
Some Services may allow you to earn, unlock, receive, or purchase digital items such as:
- cosmetics;
- skins;
- frames;
- visual effects;
- profile customizations;
- virtual currencies;
- boosts;
- upgrades;
- other digital game content.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these digital items:
- exist only within the applicable Service;
- have no cash value;
- cannot be redeemed for money;
- may not be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged between users;
- do not represent ownership of any physical or financial asset.
Where digital items are purchased through Discord, they may also be subject to Discord’s rules for virtual goods and paid services.
Your right to use a digital item is a limited personal license associated with the relevant account and Service.
10. Purchases and paid offerings
Some Repository Games may offer optional paid content through Discord’s supported payment systems.
Paid offerings may include, for example:
- cosmetics;
- virtual items;
- feature unlocks;
- premium content;
- subscriptions;
- bundles.
Before purchase, the applicable Discord purchase interface or product listing will describe the offering, including its price and the content or benefits included.
Repository Games is responsible for accurately describing and providing paid offerings made available by us.
Purchases processed through Discord are also subject to Discord’s applicable purchasing terms, including Discord’s Paid Services Terms.
Repository Games does not directly process or store your full payment card information.
Discord or its payment providers handle payment processing.
11. Entitlements
A successful purchase may result in Discord providing your account with an entitlement or other record indicating that you have access to purchased content.
We may rely on those entitlement records to determine whether a paid item or feature should be available to you.
Access to purchased content may depend on:
- your Discord account remaining accessible;
- the entitlement remaining valid;
- compliance with these Terms;
- compliance with Discord’s applicable terms.
If Discord revokes, refunds, cancels, expires, or otherwise changes an entitlement, the associated paid content may also become unavailable.
12. Subscriptions
If Repository Games offers a recurring subscription, the purchase interface will identify:
- the subscription price;
- billing period;
- included benefits;
- whether renewal is automatic;
- any other applicable conditions.
Subscriptions purchased through Discord are managed through Discord’s supported subscription systems.
Where applicable, you may cancel a subscription through Discord’s subscription settings.
Cancellation generally prevents future renewal while allowing access through the remainder of the already-paid subscription period, subject to Discord’s applicable terms and mandatory consumer law.
Any specific billing, renewal, cancellation, or refund rules shown by Discord at the time of purchase also apply.
13. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds for purchases processed through Discord are subject to:
- Discord’s applicable Paid Services Terms;
- Discord’s refund policies;
- applicable consumer protection law.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory rights you may have.
If a paid offering provided by Repository Games is materially changed, removed, or cannot be provided as described, we will handle the situation in accordance with applicable law and Discord’s requirements.
This may include, where applicable:
- advance notice;
- an opportunity to cancel;
- modification of a subscription;
- a refund.
Discord’s Monetization Terms require developers to accurately describe paid offerings and provide users with what they purchased. If an offering is materially changed or cannot be provided, Discord may require refunds or other remedies.
14. EU and other mandatory consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded by these Terms.
These Terms do not limit those rights.
For purchases made through Discord, additional statutory cancellation or withdrawal rules may be handled through Discord’s purchase process and Paid Services Terms.
Discord’s current Paid Services Terms contain specific provisions concerning the EU statutory right of withdrawal for digital purchases made through Discord.
15. Changes to paid offerings
We may update or improve paid content over time.
We will not intentionally misrepresent what a user receives when purchasing an offering.
If we make a change that materially reduces or removes purchased benefits, we will take appropriate steps required by applicable law and Discord’s monetization rules.
For recurring subscriptions, this may include providing advance notice and an opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect.
Minor, technical, security-related, balance-related, or beneficial changes may be made without prior notice where permitted by law.
16. Free content and general game changes
Repository Games may add, remove, modify, rebalance, suspend, or discontinue free game features or content from time to time.
This may include:
- puzzle rules;
- progression systems;
- reward structures;
- game balance;
- interfaces;
- features;
- availability;
- seasonal content.
We will take reasonable care not to interfere with mandatory consumer rights or obligations relating to paid offerings.
17. Intellectual property
The Services and their content are owned by Repository Games or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
This may include:
- game names;
- logos;
- visual designs;
- artwork;
- icons;
- user-interface elements;
- written content;
- puzzles;
- puzzle databases;
- game data;
- source code;
- software;
- audio;
- original game assets;
- branding.
Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no intellectual property rights are transferred to you.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative copies of Repository Games content except where expressly permitted by us or applicable law.
18. Feedback
If you voluntarily submit suggestions, ideas, feedback, or other comments about our Services, you allow Repository Games to use that feedback to operate, improve, and develop our games without obligation to compensate you.
This does not transfer ownership of unrelated intellectual property or personal content you may submit.
Bug reports and feedback containing personal data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
19. Availability
We aim to keep our Services available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Services may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- maintenance;
- software updates;
- infrastructure failures;
- Discord outages or API changes;
- security incidents;
- technical problems;
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
20. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably appropriate, including if:
- you materially violate these Terms;
- you exploit or abuse the Service;
- you compromise security;
- you engage in fraud;
- we are required to do so by law or by the platform hosting the Service.
Where appropriate, we may also correct or remove game progress, rewards, currencies, rankings, or items obtained through cheating, bugs, fraud, or unauthorized methods.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature should survive termination.
21. Effect of Discord account loss
Because our Discord Activities are associated with your Discord account, losing access to that account may result in losing access to:
- saved progress;
- purchased entitlements;
- subscriptions;
- virtual items;
- cosmetics;
- other account-linked content.
Discord may separately suspend or terminate accounts under its own terms.
Where Discord controls the purchase or entitlement system, consequences of account suspension or termination may also be governed by Discord’s Paid Services Terms.
22. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the Services will:
- always be available;
- be uninterrupted;
- be completely error-free;
- meet every user’s expectations.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Repository Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.
24. Third-party services
Our Services may rely on or interact with third-party platforms or infrastructure, including Discord.
Repository Games is not responsible for the independent operation, availability, or policies of third-party services.
Your relationship with those services may be governed by separate terms.
25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, including because:
- we release new games;
- features change;
- paid offerings are introduced;
- platform requirements change;
- applicable law changes.
We will update the “Last updated” date when we make changes.
Where required by law, or where changes materially affect paid rights, we will provide appropriate additional notice before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the Services.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Where possible, an invalid provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
27. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
28. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of protections provided by mandatory laws applicable in your place of residence.
